CASE Study Anniversary Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to your next stop on the Case Study Anniversary Blog Hop! You should be arriving here from the blog of Iwona Palamountain . If this is your first stop, you can start the hop from the very beginning by visiting the Case Study Challenge Blog HERE.

For my stop on the hop I have chosen this gorgeous card by Iwona to CASE. I love all of Iwona's cards and my jaw dropped to the ground when I saw this beauty by her (originally posted on Iwona's blog HERE):
Here is my take. I was especially inspired to pull out a similar floral stamp and stamp it on a center panel with the flowers in the upper left and corner. Iwona's addition of embossing is also a beautiful texture which I incorporated into my card as well:
The flower, Penny Black 30-047 Flowers & Wishes, as stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Copic X-Press It paper and colored with Copic markers. I lightly distressed the edges of this panel with Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The embossed piece was inked with Forest Moss Distress Ink. Finally, the background was created by rubbing Wild Honey Distress Stain on Tiara White Cardstock. I moved the applicator in up and down strokes on the paper. Once dry (I sped up the process with my heat gun) I distressed the background with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Sentiment by Penny Black, 30-014 Salutations.

Now, for your next spot on the hop.... head on over to the blog of the talented Julee Tilman- click HERE. (and if you need anymore enticing to keep hopping, I've heard that the CASE Study Design Team Members are giving away candy....)

Here's a little look at what is blooming on the Mementos Blog on Thursday:

And don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow with another card by the wonderful Jenyfur!
