Latrice *Day 2*

Here's another great card by Latrice:
And here's my take:

I began by stamping Penny Black ...All You Need onto Sticky Back Canvas using VersaMark Ink.  I heat embossed using white embossing powder.  Next I applied Distress Stains (Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, and Walnut Stain) to the canvas.  I blended the colors using Picket Fence Distress Stain.  Once dry, I gently wiped off the stamped image with a baby wipe and filled in some areas using a white gel pen.  The canvas was then adhered to a piece of Penny Black mix and Match cardstock and wrapped with twine.  The background is patterned paper which was pierced and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Thanks for visiting, my friends!

I love the idea of stamping on canvas. I'm a novice card maker and have only worked purely with paper and card so far but have recently invested in a few stamps and embossing materials and I just love how it looks so I am definitely going to have a go! Thanks for the inspiration!
