Cathy Fong *Day 2*

I have to admit that this next inspiration card by Cathy is one of the most beautiful cards I have ever laid eyes on.  I love everything about it!
And here's my oh-so-humble take:
All stamps by Penny Black: 40-109 Allover Pattern, 4242K Flower Garden
The background was stamped with VersaMark Ink and embossed using clear powder.  Next, I applied Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, and Tea Dye Distress Ink over the embossing.  To create the main panel, the image was stamped using Gray Flannel Memento Ink onto the Spellbinders die.  The background was inked with Broken China, Scattered Straw, and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  I also stamped the main image onto white cardstock, colored the flowers with Copics, cut out, and adhered with dimensional adhesive onto the main panel.

Thanks for your visits and sweet comments this week!
See you on Monday with a new PB&J Video...

Again you demonstrate so perfectly how to use inspiration to make something similar but totally your own. I just love your interpretation & the way you've used both seam binding/ribbon & twine to embellish - the twine nips the seam binding/ribbon beautifully to echo the background Allover pattern.
