VIDEO: Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils

Just wanted to pop in and share a video I created using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils.  I did lots of mix and matching with the neutral watercolor pencils and other mediums from the line.

Magic of the Season #6

Happy Friday, my friends! Today I created a set of simple tags using Penny Black 30-199 Christmas Tags...

The tags were stamped and colored with Copic markers.  I layered them onto stamped and inked tags from Penny Black's Creative Dies Tagged.  A bit of twine from the Twinery (available from SRM Stickers) was added using coordinating colors.  I think these would be fun on brightly wrapped packages. (Not that I've even started Christmas shopping much less wrapping!! LOL)

Magic of the Season #5

On today's card I used a white Inchie Arts 2" Twinchie Art Square for my focal point.

I stamped Penny Black 40-270 City Lights with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I then added Distress Ink (Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, and Fired Brick) using an ink blending tool with a foam pad.  The background, Penny Black 40-162 Crystal Pattern, was stamped using Spring Pansy VersaMagic Ink.  I also added a few die cuts (Penny Black Snowflake Trio) to finish things off.

How about a little cute stamping today?

I stamped Penny Black 30-191 Mimi & Friends and colored him with Copic Markers. The bit of faux washi tape is from Penny Black's T for Transparent Set Embellishments. And for a touch of texture in the background I used Creative Die 51-009 Dots.

The new robin stamp, Penny Black 4367H Winter Perch, was colored with Copics. I stamped the background using Penny Black Puzzle Parts and then used two Creative Dies for my sentiment- Tagged and Love and Joy.

Magic of the Season #2

This new angel stamp, Penny Black 4363L Magic of Christmas, is so pretty. I combined her with Penny Black Creative Dies 51-015 Snowflake Trio.

I love using nontraditional colors for Christmas. I find I'm reaching for lots of magenta and teal this year. So odd, as I never used to use pink much.

Magic of the Season #1

Hi all! Penny Black has a new release, Magic of the Season, and I had lots of fun creating cards with the new images.  I figured this week I'd give you a peek at few of those cards.  We begin today with my favorite card of the whole lot featuring 4366K Winterscape.

Unfortunately, this is about how our neighborhood looks today as we've experienced a major blizzard the last couple of days!  It's been a bit too much winter and a little too early for me...
