Here is my take:
The background and flowers on this card were colored using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush Markers. So that I could have a watercolor look, I colored with the markers on an acrylic block, spritzed with water, and then painted the color on using a paint brush. I also added just a bit of white with a white gel pen on the tips of the petals of the flowers.I drew the border, grass, and some extra doodles on the flower image using a extra-fine tipped Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft PITT Artist Pen. Wow...her art is beautiful...and your take on it is just as beautiful...still stumped as to what the annoucemtn could be...except maybe an online class or a dvd tutorial??

Big announcement?! Oh goodness, I couldn't be more excited for whatever it is. I hope you'll be designing product! That would be so cool. Your card rocks today, as always. I love how you took the awesome sketchy style of her hand-lettering and drawing and translated it so easily into your card. I love the flicks of ink around the card - are those the big brush markers as well? Thanks for sharing!

For years I've assisted her with the signs she creates. She not only is a creative person, but she's as wonderful friend to all.
