The rose heart was colored with markers, misted and stamped onto white cardstock. The background was inked with Old Paper and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and then stamped with Penny Black 1999L Letter Background. I distressed the edges using an edge distressing tool and then folded up the corners and adhered them with small pop dots. This piece was then layered onto Penny Black Mix and Match cardstock, pierced using the Tim Holtz Ruler, and sanded to make white dots.
Here are the two new Penny Black sets used to make this card:
40-095 Rose Heart
30-091 Mimi's Many Loves (sentiment)
See ya tomorrow--

ReplyDeleteJill, So pretty! I really love the watercolor look of this one! All the best to you - glad I got to know you this year!
ReplyDeleteSuperbly effective - especially the combination of Old Paper Distress Ink with the Letter Background. Stamping the script on the diagonal really helps to accentuate the folded over corners too.
