Dina *Day 3*

Here is our last inspiration card from the amazing Dina.  I really can't get enough of her work and look forward to seeing LOTS and LOTS of it in the future! :)
I mean really, does it get any more beautiful than this? I love her color choices, design, sentiment... yep, I love it all!  Here's my take:

The butterfly and floral images were colored with Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pens and Stamper's Big Brush Markers.  The backgrounds were distressed with Pumice Stone, Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs, Wild Honey, and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.  Black ink is VersaFine Onyx Black. All stamps by Penny Black.

Thanks so much for your visits this week. See ya soon, my friends. :)

  11. I love the way you replaced the ribbon with the twine - it really echoes the butterfly's wings & the scrolling of the design behind. The graduated shading of your base card picks up the colouring of the butterfly wings beautifully too - especially with your placement of the orange tones opposite one another. A real joy this one.
