Inchie Arts: Thankful

For today's project the 3" Art Squares by Inchie Arts were a perfect fit for my fall stamp (Penny Black 3708J Pumpkins in the Moonlight).  I used a white Art Square.

I first colored directly onto my stamp using Distress Markers.  I then spritzed lightly with water and stamped onto the Art Square.  I got such a great impression on the smooth Art Square matboard surface! Once dry, I colored with Distress Markers on my acrylic block and added water. Using my acrylic block as a palette, I painted onto the stamped image for subtle shading as well as added a few paint splatters.  I added Palette and Memento Inks (Reflection Blue and Nautical Blue) to the background using ink blending tools with foam pads.  And I added Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) to the bottom of the Art Square to ground the image. Finally, I added extra ink (Nautical Blue) over a chicken wire stencil by Our Crafter's Workshop. The Art Square was embellished and the sentiment added using Penny Black's Creative Dies (Tagged and Leaves).

PB&J Video: Penny Black Christmas Cutting #1

Inchie Arts: Colors of Fall

I don't know about you, but I LOVE the colors of fall.  Today, I've created two cards using white 2" Twinchie Art Squares by Inchie Arts.

To begin I stamped my leaf images (Penny Black 30-138 Foliage Fancy) using Ranger Archival Black Ink.  I then watercolored each Art Square using the bold and bright colors of Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus Watercolors. As always, whenever I am using a very wet medium I love using the Art Squares because they don't warp and I can add LOTS of water!

VIDEO: Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils

Just wanted to pop in and share a video I created using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils.  I did lots of mix and matching with the neutral watercolor pencils and other mediums from the line.

Magic of the Season #6

Happy Friday, my friends! Today I created a set of simple tags using Penny Black 30-199 Christmas Tags...

The tags were stamped and colored with Copic markers.  I layered them onto stamped and inked tags from Penny Black's Creative Dies Tagged.  A bit of twine from the Twinery (available from SRM Stickers) was added using coordinating colors.  I think these would be fun on brightly wrapped packages. (Not that I've even started Christmas shopping much less wrapping!! LOL)
