Inspired by... Rosemary!

Hi everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for my blogging and Hero Arts flickr friends. Your sweet comments and encouragement always make me smile. :)

I just couldn't wait to post this week's featured stamper---

Our featured stamper this week is Rosemary! (Rosemary D. to us Hero Arts flickr folks) If you are looking for inspiration, be sure to check out her flickr photostream. It is full of inspiration and she posts new, fabulous cards often!

You are going to love this first inspiration card by Rosemary:

Isn't it gorgeous?? First of all, I love the purple--so bright and royal looking! It looks really great against the kraft background. Rosemary's butterfly is stunning. It is so dimensional. It looks like it just landed on a beautiful piece of text paper! The shading behind the butterfly makes it appear as if it is glowing in the sunlight. The glitter on the butterfly adds to this affect. This card is just so stunning!

Here is my take:

I was inspired by Rosemary's bright colors, dimension, touch of ribbon, and white edge at the bottom of her stamped text.

Thanks again for stopping by! Be sure to come back tomorrow for more inspiration and gorgeous cards by Rosemary!!

Hey Jill, so glad you picked Rosemary this week. Her work is so wonderful and she is getting stronger and stronger as a card maker! I really love the way you have set up these "Inspirations" a very nice balance of showing off both yours and your inspirations talents. Keep up the good work. The Oz

WOW! I am inspired by Rosemary, too! That card takes purple to an entirely more gorgeous level! Great selection! I love how you traced your inspiration from her work to yours, as well! Those snowmen are so well colored and the card is fabulously crafted and photographed! What a fun idea! Glad I found your wonderful site! Yipee!
