I have an addiction....

I have an addiction to....Copics! Here are a couple samples using my current favorite color combos and Hero Arts stamps. I made these for my latest class at my LSS. Thought I'd share here, too.
On these next Dogwood samples, I went back with the Colorless Blender to add highlights to the petals.
Sorry for the poor quality of the photos--I don't have a good set up to take pictures of bigger projects? I'm hoping to do a couple scrapbook pages and would love any advice on how to photograph them. Thanks, friends! Hope your weekend is going well! HUGS!

So glad you shared these, Jill! I love Copics too, but need to get better at using them. You've inspired me to get them out. It's also nice to see the combo of colors you use together. Thank you!

Even your samples are gorgeous! LOL! I started out with one copic last weekend and now have about 11. How did that happen? Ha! I think I'm addicted, too. Rut ro! ;)

I would love some copics but alas, my LSS doesn't carry them. As for taking pics...lay a dark blanket on the floor in front of a window or door (natural light), stand and just snap away. Then use either picassa or picnik to crop the pics. Both programs are free and they can highlight or darken the photos. I use then all the time with my layouts. I hope this helps and have fun.

Gorgeous samples!! Superior coloring! I'm sitting here thinking when I'll ever dive into copics, but they are so expensive! I suppose they are no more expensive than all the stamps I hoard! :)

I so want to give these a try but my coloring skills are nowhere near this fine.

Hi there. It's almost 1am and I have been up way too late scrolling back over your blog until the very first post. I just wanted you to know how awesome I think your blog is. I check it almost daily and I am so impressed with all the different styles that you achieve. I LOVE that you support and highlight other crafters. :)

Great samples, Jill! As for taking pictures of layouts, I stick them to a wall with blue tac (you know it, don't you?) on my eyes height, without any direct sunlight on it to avoid shades (but still it should be well lit). Taking a picture like this ensures that it will be straight and you'll be able to crop it without any problem. If you have other questions, mail me! :)
