Here's my take: I created the background on this card using Fired Brick Distress Ink and the Fired Brick Distress Ink Refill. First, I used the ink blending tool to apply a light layer of distress ink to white watercolor paper. Then I spritzed it with water. Next, I took the refill dropper in Fired Brick and applied small drops of ink at the top of the paper. I sprayed it heavily with water and the ink dripped down the paper. Once dry, I stamped the script (Hero Arts CG197) and added Walnut Stain Distress Ink to the edges of the background. I think I will be using this technique in the future--so fun (and so messy)!!!

Now, be sure to hop over to Jennifer's BLOG to see her take on the challenge! I haven't seen it yet, but I know it will be over-the-top amazing!!! :) Wow, wow, WOW! I could look at this card forever, just to take in the amazing shading, highlights, and color choices! I love the pairing of the blue of the truck with the brightness of the flowers! Even the small blue border around the main panel accents the the gorgeous image. Finally, Joy always adds the perfect finishing touches, like the embossing on the craft card base!

Where to begin???!!! Could this be more beautiful! Lets start with Joy's coloring- those pink dogwoods are so soft and pretty. I love how they seem to jump off the elegant script background. The distressed edges give this card a shabby chic feel and the gem stones are such a charming finishing touch!

I can't get enough of these bold colors!! They really "pop" against the fresh white background! The emboss resist technique is perfect here as the punched circles really highlight the stamped image. The sentiment tag is sooo cute and I love the little gems!

Thanks so much for visiting! See you tomorrow! Joy is a master colorer and this beautiful purple flower is proof of this. It seems to glow and shine from within! I love the layers and dimension, too! I also love the way Joy has layered the die cut on the purple card base. Finally, the subtle Hero Arts Friend's Definition background stamp adds the perfect touch of texture to the main panel.

Here are the Purple Onion stamps I used for this card: Don't you just love these funky colors? That is the first thing that caught my eye about this card! I also love the various textures and dimension Heather has added using ribbon and the fern cut-out. The pink butterfly really "pops" and adds to the fun flavor of this card.

What's not to love??! Great coloring, sparkling butterflies, a pretty bow.... I could go on and on.... I love how Heather's creations are always so crisp and cheery. She has a knack for combining different images and unique color schemes. For example, I love the addition of the teal green bow with the grass green and blue papers.

See you tomorrow! HUGS! The first thing that caught my attention about this card is it's beautiful colors. I love the fern stamped in black against the crisp green background paper. The butterfly looks totally gorgeous in orange and adds an almost autumn feeling to this lovely card. Finally, the sentiment goes perfect with the entire design as the butterfly looks as if it is about to "lift off" and take flight!

This card is so warm and rich! I love the golden colors. Once again, Nichol's Copic coloring has blown me away. Isn't that fairy cute? The ribbon and button embellishments are perfect along the bottom of this card. And I love the sentiment- perfectly paired with this image.
