Pia **Day 6**

(note: after you check out Pia's beautiful card, scroll down for my entry to Lucy's challenge)
Here is our last inspiration card with Pia:

I can't get enough of the colors on this card-- so striking! I love the plaid, too. The scallop shape adds to this lovely design. The beautiful patterned circle is the perfect place for Pia's gorgeously colored butterfly to perch! Finally, Pia's beautiful photograph shows off this unique birthday card!

Here is my take. I was inspired by the plaid in Pia's card and also her beautiful butterfly. My card is also for Lucy's card challenge -- "Wings and Strings." I used Tim Holtz's technique with alcohol inks to make the plaid and I stitched the grass on top of the Stampin' Up grass stamp. Thanks again for looking! And I hope you all believe me when I say I just love reading your comments and when you just stop by to take a peek!! I have been completely blown away with all of your kind comments and encouragement this week! AND Pia-- thanks for the amazing inspiration!!

See you tomorrow! :)

Pia *Day 5*

Here is Pia's oh-so-pretty inspiration card for today:I just love the colors on this card! The bright oranges and yellows contrast perfectly with the pale blue sentiment. Pia has successfully combined several patterns to create an eye catching design. How creative to use a heart stamp as the flower petals!! This card is so cheery!

Here is my take: (So sorry for the bad photo. I didn't have time to get a picture outside like I normally do, so I had to make do with artificial lighting.)

Pia **Day 3**

Check out today's wonderful card by Pia:

This card is pure perfection! I love Pia's coloring on Kraft- such a great idea. Her bright colors with lovely shading just "pop". Pia chose the perfect striped patterned paper that ties all of her colors together. And that big red bow is so fun! This card is sure to make anyone smile on their birthday.

Here is my take on Pia's beautiful creation. I was so inspired by her coloring on kraft that I had to give it a try. I used watercolor pencils and a gel pen and when I was finished I went over it all with distress ink.

Thanks for stopping by!

Inspired by... PIA!

I have always admired the style our next featured stamper and I'm sure you will too. For the next six days I will be featuring cards made by... the talented Pia Overgaard! You will want to add her blog to your favorites so here is the link. Oh, and don't forget to stop by her photostream- another fab place for inspiration!

Here is our first fun card from Pia:

Could this be any cuter?! I don't think so! I love those smiley cats in pink. Their glittery scarves look great. I love the background stamping Pia did, too! Finally the "meow" embellishment hanging from the fun ribbon finishes off this unique card.
