Clare *Day 6*

Here is our last inspiration card by Clare: I love the beautiful simplicity of this design! The black, white, and teal color combo really draws attention to the beautiful image. Clare's nontraditional color for leaves is so eye-catching! I also love the way Clare layered her torn edge against the black cardstock which adds to the texture and handmade feel of the card! Finally, I can't think of a better embellishment than one of Clare's bows!

Here is my take. I was especially inspired to dig out an older Hero Arts tree image that I haven't used nearly enough! And I was inspired to go with few nontraditional teal leaves!

Thanks for looking and commenting, too! :) You all bring me so many smiles!! Thanks especially to Clare for allowing me to share her MAGNIFICENT creations this week!

Inspired by...Clare!

I'm so excited to share the work of our next talented stamper... Clare! You may know her as ctprezzia on flickr or her fun blog Bearydo Cards Inc.

Here is our first fabulous card by Clare:

And isn't it a beauty? I love her sparkling butterflies against the light pink background! The dark black ribbon makes a bold statement. The polka dot paper was the perfect choice to complement Clare's stamping. Finally, Clare makes the best shaped cards using her die cuts!!

Here is my take. I was so inspired by the pink/red color scheme as well as that dark black ribbon under Clare's butterflies. (And thanks, Kathy, for the fab elephant stamp!)

See you tomorrow with another of Clare's pretty creations!
