Inspired by...Jennifer Holmes (POD)

I just LOVE this card by the talented Jennifer Holmes: And here's my take using this cute set by Purple Onion Designs:
The coffee images were stamped on Copic Express Paper and colored with Copic markers. After coloring, the center panel was distressed with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. The background was embossed using a Sizzix embossing folder. Once embossed, I distressed this further using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.Thanks again for visiting this week! Happy weekend! It's Saturday, so that means today our inspiration comes from one of my fellow Purple Onion designers. Okay, on to our cards. Today's featured designer is....Jennifer Holmes! Check out her fun card:I love this playful shaped card! It is just too cute! The pink felt flower is a fun touch of color which really pops against the pool blue background. And look at that ribbon leaf--so clever!! Finally, Jennifer has paired the perfect font for her sentiment as it suits this great "thanks" card to a "T!"

Welcome to another special edition of "Inspired by..." where I will be featuring a fellow POD designer's work and my card inspired by them. Today's inspirational stamper is the super creative Jennifer Holmes. Make sure to check out her BLOG- it's loaded with inspiration! Here's Jennifer's inspiration card:I love Jennifer's clean and simple design! The pink butterfly really "pops" against the kraft background. The coloring effect is also so fun on the butterfly, showing off the details of this great image. The white outline does a nice job of spotlighting the center panel. Who wouldn't love receiving this birthday card?!!
