Don't you just love these funky colors? That is the first thing that caught my eye about this card! I also love the various textures and dimension Heather has added using ribbon and the fern cut-out. The pink butterfly really "pops" and adds to the fun flavor of this card.
Here is my take: Thanks again to all of you who have stopped by to visit and comment this week. AND big thanks to Heather, too! See you tomorrow with a Purple Onion Designs card. :)

And here is my take. I was especially inspired by Heather's grey and green color scheme and her touches of bling:

Heather *Day 3*
Check out this beauty by Heather:
What's not to love??! Great coloring, sparkling butterflies, a pretty bow.... I could go on and on.... I love how Heather's creations are always so crisp and cheery. She has a knack for combining different images and unique color schemes. For example, I love the addition of the teal green bow with the grass green and blue papers.
Here is my take:
See you tomorrow! HUGS!

Here is our next inspiration card by Heather:
The first thing that caught my attention about this card is it's beautiful colors. I love the fern stamped in black against the crisp green background paper. The butterfly looks totally gorgeous in orange and adds an almost autumn feeling to this lovely card. Finally, the sentiment goes perfect with the entire design as the butterfly looks as if it is about to "lift off" and take flight!
Here is my take:
Thanks again for popping in. We'll see you tomorrow with another beautiful CAS card from Heather!

Inspired by...Heather
Welcome to another week of "Inspired by..." creations. This week's featured artist is a pro at creating clean and simple cards with a bold, graphic style. She also works wonders with color and takes lovely photos of her cards, too!! I am pleased to announce that this week's artist is Heather Pulvirenti (a.k.a. inglishrea to us flickr folks)! If you haven't been to Heather's BLOG, be sure to visit for lots more inspiration!! Here is our first card by Heather:
Thanks soooo much for visiting! If I've said it once, I'll say it again- it means the world to me that you all pop by my corner of blogland! :) HUGS!

To begin with, I love these colors! The orange really pops against the aqua background. And did you notice the beauty of Heather's clean and simple style? The leaf images shine against the simple, textured background. Finally, I love the sentiment stamped with white on kraft--such a natural look!
Here is my take. I just can't get enough of distressing and stamping on sticky-back canvas!
