Jenyfur *Day 3*

Well, it's certain, this week with Jenyfur has gone by MUCH too fast! Here's our last inspiration card created by Jenyfur:Could her coloring on that flower be any more amazing? NOT POSSIBLE! And the subtle stamped background is so pretty. Finally, I love the fibers she's added- perfect match with her color scheme!
Here is my take, especially inspired by Jenyfur's colors:
Penny Black 4037K Mixed Media was stamped two times with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Tiara White Cardstock. One image was distressed with Pumice Stone and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I then added twine and layered this onto white cardstock and an orange notecard. The other stamped image was colored (flowers only) with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft PITT Artist Pens. I cut out the flower images and adhered them to the card.

And finally, here's one more peek at what's cookin' over on the Mementos Blog.

BIG thanks to Jenyfur for allowing me to share her work this week! She uploads her awesome cards to her Flickr Photostream HERE, I'm sure you'll want to be checking it often (I always do!). Thanks also to all of you for your visits and sweet comments this week. Hope you all have a charming weekend!

Jenyfur *Day 2*

I'm back again today with another fab inspiration card by Jenyfur:
Jenyfur is truly the master of any style! She creates beautiful elegant cards, happy artsy cards, and then such cute cards like today's, sure to make ANYONE smile!
Here is my take:
The rose, Penny Black Rosa, was colored with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush Markers and then I added highlights with Faber-Castell's white Pastel Pencil. The die cut, Spellbinders Labels 16, was inked with Broken China, Walnut Stain, and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. These were each layered and then mounted onto patterned paper and cardstock inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Sentiment by Penny Black, 30-072 Air Mail.

Here's a look at what's happening on the Memento's Blog today:

Thanks for popping by!
See you soon- I'm very excited to be participating in a fun blog hop tomorrow.

Inspired by...Jenyfur

This week I am thrilled to announce that our featured artist is none other than the UBER talented Jenyfur! All of her cards are always so polished and beautiful, just like her inspiration card for today:
I love the crispness of the white frame. And Jenyfur's color scheme is so elegant. Who would have ever thought that grey grass could be so wonderful!!

Here is my take:
The sweet little girl, Penny Black 4152K Peppermint Polly, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Copic XPress It cardstock. She was then colored with Copic Markers and I cut out her body, scarf, and flower. Before trimming the frame, I restamped her onto Tiara White Cardstock. Next I cut on the frame and inked the center portion with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I also stamped Penny Black 40-054 Sweet Home in Pumice Stone Distress Ink. The outer frame and Polly were adhered and mounted using Pop Dots. Sentiment by Penny Black, 30-032 Enjoy Life.
Before you go, have a couple of other things to share today. This card set was my Faber-Castell Make and Take project in the Penny Black booth at CHA. If you pop over to the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog (click HERE) you will find a photo tutorial showing how these were created. (Oh, and the stamp used is a *NEW* stamp by Penny Black, available for preorder HERE.)
And before you go here's a peek at what is happening on the Mementos Blog today.
