Jacqueline *Day 3*

As soon as I saw this card by Jacqueline in the flickr gallery, I just knew I would have to share it: I love this wreath of pretty flowers! The paper piecing adds wonderful texture and shading. Jacqueline's color choices of flowers really "pop" against the light background! I love how she has used the same flower stamp for both the background AND the flowers in the wreath. Finally, the text in the center of the wreath adds such an elegant touch!

Here is my take. This is definitely a CASE of Jacqueline's card--no new original thought by me!!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Hi all of my blogging and flickr friends! This week's featured artist has a style all her own--always pretty, soft, layered, vintage....yep, you guessed it--Jacqueline!!! I have been a LONG time admirer of her cards and am so pleased to share a few of them on my blog this week. Be sure to check out her lovely blog, My Scrap Basket, as well as her Flickr photostream which are both FULL of eye-candy!

Here is the first inspiration card by Jacqueline:
To begin with, I love the soft, distressed background. The muted colors provide the perfect backdrop for those VIBRANT, stunning RED butterflies!! The touches of black on the poppies and the sentiment tie everything together. Finally, the pearls are perfect, sweet, and pretty embellishments!

Here is my take:Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to share more of Jacqueline's simply GORGEOUS cards--I hope you'll stop back tomorrow! :)
