It's Aimes here from Crafting Confessions , totally gatecrashing blog stylee! Let's get this party started! LOL!
OK, ok so I'm not actually gatecrashing as I was invited over here by Jill. Boy was I was totally honoured with such a responsibility and jumped at the chance to hang out around here for a day. So I feel that it's only polite as the hostess to offer you a drink; tell you what, I'll put the kettle on for us and whilst it's boiling share a card with ya *wink*
As you probably know, Jill is playing a little role reversal whilst she has a blast at CHA (Am I jealous? Moi?! In a word - Yup!) and it's me who gets to pick a card of hers to be inspired by. Sounds easy, huh? Well have you checked out Jill's gallery? There's inspiration ooozing outta every creation of hers! Still, I had to narrow down my choice to one card of here and picked this beauty:
What drew me to this card? Well not only Jill's amazing attention to detail when it comes to colouring, but I also loved the idea of using a tag on a card. I mean, I have some tag dies but hardly use 'em enough. So out came a tag die, some scrummy new flower stamps and I got inky:
Now my colouring skill is nothing close to Jill's but I do love me a good colouring session and I've had these new stamps from Verve that have been waiting ever-so-patiently to be inked up. But not only do I love that I got to have a play with my Promarkers, I also love that Jill even inspired me to cut up some patterned paper that I've been hoarding and attach it to a card too! I think I've only got about a million sheets of the stuff to use LOL!
Ooooh, do you hear that? The kettle's just boiled so I'm gonna go make us that cuppa...
