Cathy *Day 3*

This next card by Cathy is wonderful:

Her three tulips are perfectly stamped and colored. I also love how Cathy paper pieces the flower image and then also colors it with copic markers to give it dimension. The punched border is the perfect touch of detail and elegance. Finally, Cathy has mixed many stamped images together (text, flowers, heart flourishes) and they look like they were all meant to go together! This is not an easy thing to do- so impressive! Oh- I almost forgot-- look very closely at the background behind the tulips. Cathy created that subtle background by stamping a sentiment repeatedly! How inspiring!

Here is my take:Thanks again for your comments and encouragement. See ya tomorrow!

Supplies---Stamps: Background Sentiment (Hero Arts CL342), Butterfly (Hero Arts CG130), Flourish (Hero Arts CG119); Ink: Distress Ink (Tim Holtz); Other: Scallop Punch (Fiskars), Distress Stickles (Ranger), Pearls (Recollections), Misc. Cardstock and Thread

I always hear myself say "hmmmm" when I see one of your beautiful cards! This one is superb!
May I ask how you get such a soft tint on the edges?
You use the ink pad directly onto them or do you ink a piece of foam first?

Thank you ~

Love those butterflies. They look like they are about to take flight. I really like the ethereal feel of this card.
It would cheer me up in a second to receive such a beauty.
