Hhhmmm... are you all as glad as me that it is Friday??!!! I am for several reasons, one being that I get to share this awesome news--- I have joined the design team for Tiffany Doodles digital stamps! I am quite honored to be on this team with so many talented designers AND I LOVE Tiffany's digi images. She has such a range from cute animals to realistic florals and I can't wait to print them out and get them inky! :) In honor of this special announcement, I have made my first design team card using the Poppy with Oval stamp. Here it is:
I have also been working on another digi card to share with you on December 7th, the kick-off to the Tiffany Doodles December challenge and a blog hop! There's going to be lots of digi giveaways, so stay tuned for more info. And speaking of blog hopping, here are the links to all of the Tiffany Doodle design team members' blogs---lots of eye candy:

Thanks so much to everyone who has stopped by this week. See you next week---I can't wait to share the work of our next featured stamper. Her cards ALWAYS catch my eye over in the Hero Arts flickr gallery!

Dawn McVey *Day 3* AND A VIDEO

Here's our next beautiful card by Dawn:
Once again, I am in complete awe of Dawn's daring color choices. I love the bold red background on her card. The layered stamping in the background has such a natural look. And the beautiful tag and sentiment go perfectly with the background images!
Here is my take. I made my red/orange background using distress ink--Fired Brick and Rusty Hinge on white cardstock.
Now on to my next video. I am going to try and post a new video and card each Wednesday, as I get make a Project Of the Week (POW!) card for my local scrapbook store's blog, Mementos. Here's the card for this week:
And here's the video. I show a couple of techniques in this video including masking and reverse/mirror image stamping. Thanks so much for watching!!!

And did you notice---no wierd mirror images of my hand or ink pads in this video?! LOL- I'm learning... thanks for your patience as this is only my second video. :)
HUGS and see you tomorrow with another truly amazing card by Dawn!

Dawn McVey *Day 2*

Here's our next fun card by Dawn:
I love Dawn's layered, butterflies. And again Dawn has chosen such a charming, unexpected color scheme for her creation! The modern, circle background looks great with the texture of the felt. Finally, Dawn has finished off this creation with a unique sentiment banner. I just can't help but smile when I look at her card!
Here is my take. I layered the butterflies from one of my favorite sets from Purple Onion Designs, the Vintage Butterfly set:

Thanks again for popping by! See you tomorrow with another amazing card by Dawn and....a another video!! (Did you see the one I did last week? HERE's a link if you missed it.) Oh, just a quick enabling moment- ALL Purple Onion Stamps are 25% off through December 10... :)

Inspired by...Dawn McVey!

Hi everyone! I am soooooooooo excited to annouced that this week's featured artist is none other than the talented Dawn McVey! Dawn not only makes theeee most fun, bright, and modern cards but she also has her own line of stamps for Papertrey Ink. I really am SUPER honored to share some of her work here this week. Sooo, on to the cards. Here is our first inspiration card by Dawn: I love the way Dawn has used vintage book paper on her card. Her stamping on top of the paper is so fun! The ticket frame is the perfect shape for her sentiment and seriously, how cute are those buttons??!! Finally, this card is a charming example of Dawn's unique color combos. I would never have thought to add the aqua color of the buttons, but it works so well!
Here's my take:
Thanks so much for visiting, my friends! See you tomorrow with another spectacular card by Dawn! HUGS!
