Cathy *Day 4*

Happy Friday, my friends! Today I have another fun inspiration card by Cathy Fong.  I was especially inspired by the unique color scheme on her card, including that lovely peachy pink sky:
And here's my take:

Inspired by...Cathy *Day 3*

I love this colorful and cheery set of cards by Cathy Fong:
As always her coloring is full of life!
Here's my take:

The card bases were cut using Tim Holtz Alterations die Vintage Cabinet Card using Penny Black Mix and Match cardstock. I distressed this cardstock using Forest Moss, Seedless Preserves, and Faded Jeans Distress Ink.  I then stamped it using Penny Black 40-106 Paisley, stamping with the same colors as the distressing.  The floral panels were cut from Spellbinders Deckled Edge Ovals and stamped with Penny Black 3872H Astilbe and 40-111 Breezy.  I colored the stamps with a combination of Marvy markers and Stamper's Big Brush markers and then "huffed" on the stamps before stamping.  Next I lightly stamped these pieces using Penny Black 1999L Letter Background inked with Pumice Stone Distress Ink, removing some ink with a baby wipe before stamping.  Sentiment by Penny Black 30-104 Sweet Wishes.

Thanks so much for your visit and for your sweet comments! See you soon with another FAB card by Cathy Fong!

Cathy Fong *Day 2*

I have to admit that this next inspiration card by Cathy is one of the most beautiful cards I have ever laid eyes on.  I love everything about it!
And here's my oh-so-humble take:
All stamps by Penny Black: 40-109 Allover Pattern, 4242K Flower Garden
The background was stamped with VersaMark Ink and embossed using clear powder.  Next, I applied Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, and Tea Dye Distress Ink over the embossing.  To create the main panel, the image was stamped using Gray Flannel Memento Ink onto the Spellbinders die.  The background was inked with Broken China, Scattered Straw, and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  I also stamped the main image onto white cardstock, colored the flowers with Copics, cut out, and adhered with dimensional adhesive onto the main panel.

Thanks for your visits and sweet comments this week!
See you on Monday with a new PB&J Video...

I love her color choices and the glow Cathy always creates when coloring:
And here's my take:
