Now, I know that Christmas is over, but this tag is just too pretty not to share! The warm, golden colors are so inviting. The layers of stamping have such a beautiful effect. I love the vines, birds, and flowers! I like the way Sue has placed the sentiment. And finally, the lace at the bottom is the perfect finishing touch!

Isn't this a beauty!? I love how Sue was able to visualize a piece of patterned paper as a beautiful card! She added so much dimension by cutting out the dragonfly's wings. The subtle sparkle on the wings is the perfect touch, too! Finally, the twine adds to the natural feeling and the button is a great pop of color!

This scene is so beautiful! The patterned paper is the perfect snowy backdrop for this peaceful winter scene. I love that she used sheet music for the snowy ground. And the sentiment? PERFECT! Finally, Sue never forgets the details- snow on the tree, twine, and a pretty button.

Okay, get ready to feast your eyes on this beauty from Sue:

This could not be any prettier! I love the pinks with the olive green! And look at that cracked glass technique!! WOW! The ribbon and perfect bow are fabulous. Of course, I love the intricate butterfly that tops off this amazing card!

Here is my take on Sue's card. This was definitely one of those cards that ended up a LOT different than how I pictured it in my mind. Does that ever happen to you? You head in one direction, and find that you are on the opposite side of town than you planned on? haha! :)

Inspired by... Stampersuzz!

Welcome to another week of inspiration! This week the featured stamper is Sue (AKA Stampersuzz on flickr)! Her cards are always magnificent works of art! Every time I stop by her blog I am blown away by her creations! Let's get started; shall we?

Here is Sue's first inspiration card. It's actually a tag (which she is VERY talented at creating, BTW!): First of all, I love the colors on this tag. The orange and black are so bold and fun. The layered strips of cardstock, stamping, and butterflies make for a wonderful design and a great starting off point for inspiration! The butterflies all lined up in a row almost create the illusion of ruffles or a border punch- something very unique that I haven't seen before! Finally, the two little buttons with twine finish off this beautiful tag perfectly!

Here is my take on this fun tag:

Thanks again for stopping by. I can't wait to share Sue's creation for tomorrow- it'll knock your socks off! :)
