I love how soft and sweet this vintage card is! Julia is a master at pairing patterned papers and stamps. The soft robin egg blue looks beautiful with the light tan. And don't you love her embellishments? Perfectly placed as always!
Here is my take:
I began by stamping the large Lynnwood Background stamp (J-987 by Outlines) with Versamark Ink on tan paper. I sprinkled it and embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I applied Broken China Distress over this embossed image. Finally, I stamped Hero Arts Friend Definition (CG125) using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, removing some of the ink with a baby wipe before stamping. The embossed areas will resist this text ink, and I removed it using a baby wipe. The sentiment (Hero Arts CL491) was stamped with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
And since it is the 7th of the month, it's time to share another Tiffany Doodles card for the monthly challenge. This month the challenge is fun photo inspiration, so be sure to check out the details HERE. Here's my card. I channeled my inner Kathy Racoosin (one of my stamping idols) when coloring and "dotting" this Tiffany Doodles butterfly!
Here is my springy card. I hope that if you are in a cold, snowy place, when you look at this card you can feel some warm Arizona sunshine! :)
This image was printed and colored using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft PITT Artist Pens. LOVE how they FAB these pens are to color small detail images like this. I added a touch of Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink to the colored panel. Sentiment by Hero Arts.
The grand prize winner, who leaves a comment at every blog, will win a $10 gift certificate for the Tiffany Doodles shop.
Here's your next stop for the hop--the talented Jodi .
And I'll see you on Monday with a card for the next Tiffany Doodles challenge AND our next featured artist (yes, next week will be a "normal" Inspired By...week). :)
I love the oval with the sentiment and all those pretty purple butterflies! The text background adds to the elegance of this card. It truly is a masterpiece!
All stamps on this card are by Hero Arts. I began by stamping the background with VersaMark ink on white paper and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. Next I added Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, and Dusty Concord Distress Ink directly over the embossed image. After applying the ink, I lightly wiped the embossed areas with a baby wipe. The sentiment was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the butterfly punch is by Fiskars.
Lani's card is so delicate and pretty! I love her red and green color combo. Her coloring has a softness that suits this stamp perfectly. And that sentiment banner adds a bright and fun touch.
The center panel was created by stamping Hero Arts CG192 Floating Garden with VersaMark ink on white paper and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. Then I used Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft PITT Artist Pens to color in the image. I was able to color quickly and wipe off anything that went "outside the lines" with a baby wipe. The green background was created by embossing Hero Arts layering paper with a Sizzix embossing folder. After embossing I sanded the raised areas and then colored the sanded areas with a green Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stampers Big Brush Marker. The sentiment is Hero Arts CL351 Friends.

Here is my take:
I printed the image on Copic Express paper and colored using Copic markers. Next, I lightly distressed this panel using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Stickles were added to the hearts. The blue background was created by distressing white cardstock with Faded Jeans and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Stamps (Tiffany Doodles, Sentiment Hero Arts CL497)
COLLABORATION CHALLENGE: Use the color combo featured on the cover of this great issue of PaperCrafts magazine.
This card began entirely as white cardstock. The floral images on the tag were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. This tag was then distressed lightly with Crushed Olive Distress Ink and the script was stamped with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. (I removed some portions of the ink by dabbing the stamp with a baby wipe before stamping.) The smaller tag was distressed with Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Ink. The blue background was colored with Faded Jeans and Broken China Distress Ink. The polka dot background was stamped with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Each element of the card was distressed with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink around the edges. Butterfly punches by Martha Stewart and Fiskars. All Stamps Hero Arts (H5489, K5344, CL479, S5101. CL250)
Here's a look at the entire set together:

Yep, not only does Tiffany make fun, trendy cards but you can turn to her blog for lots of great card sketches. And if you upload your card to an online card gallery, be sure to tag it with the sketch title so we can check it out! :)
The flowers were stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored using Distress Ink (Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge). The subtle outline around the flowers was done using Copic Marker W1 Warm Gray No. 1. I then distressed the squares using Pumice Stone Distress Ink. The yellow background (small border) was distressed using Wild Honey Distress Ink and then flicked with water. All Stamps Hero Arts (F5429, CL487)

Dawn is such a pro! I love the layout of this card, with the polka dots on the bottom and the subtle leaves stamped on the top. The main panel perfectly combines cute and vintage. And of course, you can't look at a card by Dawn and not comment on the color scheme- I'm lovin' the grey, red, green, and tan combination!
Thanks so much to everyone who has stopped by this week. See you next week---I can't wait to share the work of our next featured stamper. Her cards ALWAYS catch my eye over in the Hero Arts flickr gallery!
