Kathy *Day 6*

Our last card by Kathy is so unique:

I love the way she added the swirls of smoke from the chimney! Her cute house looks so warm and cozy against the dark blue paper! The embossed background is the perfect touch of texture. Finally, the polka dot ribbon ties in all of the colors. This would make such a perfect card to send someone after visiting their home for the holidays!


Here is my take on Kathy's awesome card. I was really inspired by her dark, rich colors.

Hi! I'm so glad you stopped by today. Here is our next inspiration card with Kathy:Isn't this a beauty!?? The details on this card are so amazing. All of the intricate coloring, gems, layering, background stamping... whoa! It just blows my mind! A masterpiece like this takes Talent (with a capital 'T')!

Check out this pretty card from Kathy:

I just love those glossy flowers with giant pearls! They look so pretty with the soft patterned papers in the background. The border punch adds a pop of dark color and nice detail! Finally, the simple sentiment compliments Kathy's eye-catching design!

Kathy *Day 3*

Hi all! Hope your week is off to a good start! :) Here is the next card by Kathy:


Nothing is cheerier than a vase of white daisies! This card is sure to brighten anyone's day. And isn't that frog too cute?? I love that he is peeking out from behind the vase with his silly smile. Kathy's coloring on this card is fabulous. She is a pro at shading and highlighting images with her markers. She really makes the images come to life!

Kathy *Day 2*

Here is the next card by Kathy:
I love, love, LOVE the colors of this card. Kathy's stamping of the clouds in orange is bold and fun! And I'm sure you noticed her stunning butterfly. One of Kathy's style trademarks is adding dots to a stamped image. Who would have thought that this could add so much!!?? Finally, I love the texture and sparkle the punched border and gems add to this card.
Here is my take. I had way too much fun adding some white dots to my butterfly...this could be addicting! :)

Inspired by... Kathy!!

I am so excited to feature Kathy, (AKA crzy4stamps-kathy on flickr)! She is one of my stamping idols and it is my honor to share some of her cards. I recommend adding her blog to your favorites because she is always cooking up something creative and inspiring in her corner of blogland and don't forget to check out her flickr photostream, too!

Okay, lets get started. :) Here is the first inspiration card by Kathy:

Isn't this amazing!?! Kathy's coloring of the little girl and snowy background is brilliant! I love these unexpected colors together. This card is so bright and bold! The row of brads along the bottom is such a fun touch- I love the way she incorporated them with the scallop punch! This card is just pure eye-candy!
