Ayana *Day 4*

NOTE: If you are here for the Lily Pad blog hop, you can view my post by clicking HERE or scrolling down. Happy Friday! Today is our last day of inspiration with the wonderful Ayana and I saved this beautiful set to share with you today: I love the bright colors on this set! Ayana's masking technique is flawless. Her background stamp choices really add to the effect, too. Finally, Ayana has done a wonderful job of making the sentiments feel like an integral part of her design! Here is my take. I was especially inspired by her card in the center: I began by stamping, coloring, and cutting out the flowers (Hero Arts CL375). They were colored with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush Markers (orange/red) and Copics (greys). I added a Candi center to each flower with a foam dot. More on these coming soon! The background was distressed with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and stamped with this same ink (Hero Arts Envelope Background S5507). The sentiment (Hero Arts CG132) was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. After stamping, I trimmed the sentiment and then outlined the edge with a black Stamper's Big Brush Marker. Thanks again for your visits and support! See you tomorrow with a Purple Onion Designs card!

Okay loved Anaya's card when she first posted it, made me rethink my thought on doilies and I love how you've taken the same idea and turned it into flowers... fabulous.
