Oh man, I can't get enough of Darlene's bright bold flowers. They are colored beautifully! And I love the way she attached her sentiment, too.
Here is my take. I just had to make a bold floral card, too: I began by stamping and masking the flower (Penny Black 30-031 Flower Gallery) with Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the flowers using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush markers and PITT Artist Pens. I added the lighter white shading on the petals using the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft white Pastel Pencil.
Thanks SOOO much for stopping by! See you tomorrow! HUGS!

Both cards are just so GORGEOUS!
Love the vivid colours.
Beautiful! I love Darlene's use of vivid color and your card is the perfect inspiration, Jill. Love the flowers. Will I ever get to color like that? I guess I need coloring tools and classes first!
Wow, I love your card! You did a great job colouring your flowers. Great take on the original!!
Gorgeous - times two!

Both cards are amazing!! I seriously need to learn how to colour, so that eventually I can achieve some nice flowers like that.

Totally love them! Hugs, Ruth S
I can really see why you found her card inspiring! Your card is beautiful too--Someday I will get around to masking some beautiful flowers because YOU REALLY INSPIRE ME! :)
Fabulous vivid colours on both cards!
Your card is so gorgeous! And once again, I've found another blog to love through you! So glad I found YOU too!
GORGEOUS JAW DROPPING!! :) :) :)
Absolutely stunning! I'm waiting for the day Hallmark buys out rights to your designs! Always a pleasure my friend! Thanks for the love on the DMC blog today!
I really like both cards. Since you featured Darlene on your blog recently, I've started following her blog as well as yours. You did a card similar to this one not long ago where you masked the flowers and stamped them all over the page... so you inspired me to try it. I don't have the same stamp that you used and so far I've only gotten the stamping done, but surprisingly, I really like how it turned out even though it was my first attempt at masking and layering the stamping. Now I'm just afraid after all that work I'll mess it up with my coloring since I'm also new at that, too! LOL!! Wish me luck! LOL!! But, most of all, thanks so much for the inspiration!!!
Both cards are beautiful. I thought the bold flower card used printed designer paper - How incredible that you created and colored so beautifully! Just stunning!
