Penny Black Reader Inspiration

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone! I hope you've had a wonderful week. Any big plans for the 3 day weekend? My hubby and I are going to hang around home and I'm hoping to get caught up on some stamping projects. Today is our last day of inspiration from the Penny Circle flickr gallery. Our featured artist is Sarpreet Bhangra. Isn't the scene on her card just the CUTEST?

Here is my card. I just had to make an outdoor scene and some torn paper hills like Sarprett: All Stamps Penny Black

Remember, there is still time to participate in the weekly Penny Black challenge. It's a great sketch challenge this week. You can check out the sketch on the bottom of this post HERE.

Thanks again for visiting! BIG hugs!

wow! you are all so kind. and thak you Jill for picking a card by me. I love how you have used the torn hills onto your card. STUNNING. This really has made my day - especially after the day I have had today.

i love your interpretation, the pierced holes. Using the tim holtz ruler i struggle to keep a straight line. and watching your video i think my poking tool is too heavyweight. I love the stamped background. and the dots, and the patterned embossed strip of paper.

I also wanted to say i watched your videos on Penny Black a couple of days ago. And i noted that you said you used a baby wipe to get the excess ink of your heat embossed images. That really works. I have always been using a tissue paper - but I can never bump the original white of the image. I managed with the babywipe - and I will be back to using this technique which i loved! thank you so much.

Thank you for inspiring me.
