Inspired by...Dina

This week's featured artist has a beautiful style. I could spend all day going through her blog- there is so much eye candy!  Introducing... Dina Kowal.  Here is her first inspiration card for today:
Is your jaw still on the ground?  Mine is!  This has to be one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen!  Here is my (very humble) take:

I began by stamping Penny Black Sundial with VersaMark Ink onto white cardstock.  I embossed this with white embossing powder. I colored the flower using Stamper's Big Brush markers by Faber-Castell.  The blue background was created by coloring with various shades of blue and green gelatos directly onto the paper.  I blended the gelato using my fingertip.  The orange/yellow background was created by rubbing a Wild Honey Distress Ink pad directly to my white cardstock.  Sentiment by Penny Black.

Thanks sooo much for stopping by!

I love this! Love how you pulled the gold in to the color mix, and your use of different media - so cool! Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve! Hey, will you be at CHA?

The blue gradations in both are quite stunning & your's Jill is a lesson in colour theory all by itself. Love your sentiment too & the way the banner extends either side.

I really love your take on this. The colors and embossing really make this pop. It would be great with so many open images.
