So you all know how much I love butterflies; right? Then you know how my heart skipped a beat when I saw this new stamp from Penny Black (40-099 Soft Wings):
To create my card I stamped the butterfly using VersaMark ink onto cream colored cardstock and embossed using clear embossing powder. I then applied Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink over the embossing. The background (Penny Black 40-106 Paisley) was stamped onto cardstock using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. Both dies are by Spellbinders and larger die was inked with Brushed Corduroy and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Oh how beautiful, Jill! How's the move coming? Are you there yet?
Oh, my! What an amazing butterfly! Gorgeous card, Jill!
That is one gorgeous card!
One of my favorites Jill!! Happy Friday!
This stamp is on my list - love the effect of stamping & embossing onto the cream & the way the stamped image really glows delicately against the dark of the inked cardstock.
Take care with the packing/moving.

WOWy, that butterfly is just so gorgeous!
So lovely, great colors and love the embossed butterfly!
WOW...absolutely gorgeous
I too have a love affair with butterflies (and hearts). but I unfortunately do not like the added appendages at the very bottom of their wings--I only like the rounded-bottomed ones. Weird, I know.
Hope you are having an uneventful move.
DO LOVE THE CARD, though.
Thanks for helping me to see butterfly stamps in a new way. I've always stamped in black and colored. I love the cream embossing. Gorgeous and different.
Wow! That is the most fabulous stamped butterfly I've ever seen! I would never think of a cream-colored one with that brown background. Totally elegant, Jill.
Oh my goodness! That is one beautiful card!
