And I have to admit, I think the coloring around the images is my favorite part to do!

Week of Watercolor *Day 2*
Today I stamped a field of poppies using Penny Black 30-155 Blooming Garden and then added the sentiment, Penny Black 30-160 Friendship.
On the orange poppies I layered a second layer of color on top of the lighter yellow once it was dry. I like how this added to the puddle-y charm of the watercolor look.

Week of Watercolor *Day 1*
Lately, I've been totally smitten with my Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils so I decided to create several one layer cards colored with watercolors. I'll be sharing them all this week!
Today's card features Penny Black 4313J Graceful and 30-162 Eloquence.
I simply stamped with Ranger Archival Black Ink and colored using THIS technique. I also added a few splatters of blue just so I could get messy. :)

Inchie Arts with Dina *Day 3*
Welcome to the final day of my collaboration with the talented Dina Kowal! (scroll down for days 1 and 2.) For each day of our 3-day collabo we have been playing with the same size mat board squares by Inchie Arts. Today Dina and I are both using the 1" Inchie Squares. I used several Inchies on my card today...
I began by stamping Penny Black 40-206 Glory of Modesty using VersaMagic Spring Pansy ink. To this background, I added a touch of Seedless Preserves Distress Ink as well as stamping Penny Black 1999L Letter Background with Memento Ink. The sentiment is by Penny Black (30-163 Love Chapter) and the ribbon is from Ribbons Unlimited.
And as today is our final collaboration day, I wanted to send a big thanks to both Dina and Inchie Arts! I see that Inchie Arts has added two new sizes to their matboard product line--- ATC size (ATC 2.5" x 3.5") and 3" squares. Both are definitely headed to the top of my wish list! Thanks to all of you for stopping by, too! HUGS!

Inchie Arts with Dina *Day 2*
Welcome to day two of my newest collaboration with the talented Dina Kowal! (scroll down for day 1) For each day of our 3-day collabo we will be playing with the same size mat board squares by Inchie Arts. Today Dina and I are both using the 1.5" Inchie + Squares. Here's a look at my card.
I stamped my squares using Penny Black 4310K Verdant and VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Because of the sturdiness of the matboard squares, I decided to use another wet medium today- Distress Stain. I colored with Distress Stains (Dusty Concord, Wild Honey, and Fired Brick) directly onto the squares and then misted with water to blend. Once dry, I removed the excess ink from the embossed areas using a baby wipe. The sentiment is from Penny Black 30-162 Eloquence and was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

Inchie Arts with Dina *Day 1*
I am so excited to be sharing a new collaboration with the SUPER talented Dina Kowal this week! For each day of our 3-day collabo we will be playing with the same size mat board squares by Inchie Arts. Today Dina and I are both using the 2" Twinchie Squares.
This was my first time working with the Inchie Arts mat board squares and let me tell you, I'm in LOVE! I wanted to try watercoloring on this surface and it worked perfectly. Because of the thickness of the squares, I did not have to worry about "curling" or getting the surface too wet.
I began by stamping Penny Black 30-159 Dahlias onto the Twinchies using Ranger Archival Black Ink. I colored the flowers and backgrounds with Faber-Castell Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils using the same technique as I did in THIS video. The embossed background paper, Penny Black EP402 Lattice White, was inked with Palette Hybrid Inks and Distress Inks and I added the Twinchies with pop dots. The completed size of each card is approximately 4 x 4 inches.

Springtime Tags
This week I have lots to share with you, including two new videos! To kick things off, I have a couple of tags created using Penny Black stamps from the new Take Flight catalog. Here's the first tag...
I began by stamping background stamp, 40-207 Trailing Beauty, with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto my tag. I colored the flowers using Copic markers and then lightly distressed the background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The sentiment, 30-160 Friendship, was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, and then distressed with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Finally, I added two butterflies punched (Fiskars punch) from black cardstock.
This next tag was created with the Penny Black collage stamp, 4309L Singer's Muse. I colored the background with Distress Inks (Peeled Paint, Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, and Wild Honey) and the bird and the flower were colored with Copic markers, cut out and adhered to the tag using pop dots. The sentiment, 30-162 Elegance, was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.
