Inspired by...Barb!

I am thrilled to announce the next "Inspired by..." stamper. She has heaps of talent and is one of the best flickr cheerleaders---it's Barb (bdengler4)! Make sure you hop over to her PHOTOSTREAM and check out all of her lovely creations!

Here is our first inspiration card from Barb:
Isn't Barb's coloring to die for?! I love those springy daisies and the distressed background is so bold! The vibrant colors are extremely happy and energetic! And the striped background is the perfect amount of pattern behind Barb's dimensional center panel.

Here is my take. After seeing Barbs BOLD flowers with the distressed background I just had to create a BIG bold flower, too! And her distressing inspired me to bring out one of my new Hero Arts cling stamps-Aged Pring Frame (CG154).Thanks again for stopping by! I can't wait to share more of Barb's cards with you! :)

Sarah *Day 4*

I love the colors and design of this next card by Sarah:

Sarah is just so creative-- those fun flowers and sequins were from one of her daughter's tops! She has perfectly arranged them creating a visual triangle which is so pleasing to the eye. The polka dot background adds to the playful feeling of this card. And finally, the bright white strip of cardstrock immediately draws your attention to the sentiment!

Here is my take. This is totally one of those cards for me that took FOREVER and I don't think I'm happy with the result at all. Do you ever have times where you just keep adding more and more "stuff" to try and fix a card? I think I should have jumped ship at lot sooner...but I kept going....

Thanks so much for looking! See you tomorrow!

Sarah *Day 3*

Here is our next inspirational card by Sarah: Where do I begin??!! First of all, the red is striking against the warm golden background. Sarah has created the perfectly distressed backdrop to go with her perfectly colored flower. The text stamped diagonally on the background adds to the elegance of this card. Finally, the butterfly in the center of the flower brings this card to life with another layer of stamping and gorgeous color!
