Marion *Day 3*

Unfortunately, today is our last day of inspiration with the incredible Marion. It's been an honor to share her work this week! Be sure to add her blog to your favorites so you can continue to check out her beautiful cards! I love this one of hers: The background to her elegant flowers is INKredible! I love her distressing and subtle stamping. I'm sure whoever receives this card will be amazed by Marion's beautiful colors and charming design! Here is my take:

Please note- items used in creating this card that are available for purchase from www.ilovemementos.com will be linked in the following description:
I began by stamping Penny Black 4039K Candid with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Neenah Tiara White cardstock. I also stamped the floral portion of this image onto another piece of Neenah Tiara White cardstock. The background was inked with Wild Honey, Fired Brick, and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Then this background was stamped with Penny Black 1999L Letter background. I inked this stamp with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and then removed some ink with a baby wipe before stamping. The flowers were colored with Stamper's Big Brush markers, cut out and added to the inked panel using dimensional adhesive. The pierced cardstock, pierced with Tim Holtz ruler, was lightly inked with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Twine bow glued with Glossy Accents.

Now let's take a peek at what is happening on the Mementos blog today!

Today's tutorial shares step by step directions on how to create a fun butterfly card. Who can resist a rainbow of butterflies!? And this Penny Black stamp is one of my favorites- all of those butterflies are on ONE stamp! Check it out HERE.

So love Marion's card here today, but so awe struck over your take on it. The vibrancy and boldness of the colours used is stunning and the blending of colours is astounding. Your cleverness to add a whimiscal touch to your cards really does add the finishing touch to creat a masterpiece. I know! I know! Your tired of hearing the same thing, but what I say! A masterpiece is a masterpiece. Have to find some new words to describe you work I guess. Must get out the dictionary I suppose. Lol. Lol. Hugs.
