Teneale *Day 3*

I LOVEEEE this card by Teneale: The sentiment is perfect; isn't it? And the subtle stamping of the clocks-- GENIUS! Finally, the texture is such a great finishing touch.
Here is my take:

This card began as white cardstock (except for the little bit of text peeking out in the upper corner of the main panel- that's pp). The texture background was embossed using Sizzix Texture Fade Gridlock embossing folder. Once embossed, it was inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and the bottom portion of the card die cut using Spellbinders Labels 8 was inked with Black Soot Distress Ink. The main panel with the tree was distressed with Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The tree, Penny Black 3977H Splendor, was inked with Stamper's Big Brush Markers, coloring directly onto the stamp. Once stamped, I added shading using PITT Artist Pens. I also stamped Penny Black 3859H Corner Piece using Pumice Stone Distress ink. Sentiment by Penny Black, 4070F Dreams Come True.

And I hope you can stop by the Mementos Blog today- we've got a new tutorial video for ya! Here's a tiny peek at the card--- http://www.ilovemementos.blogspot.com/

See you tomorrow with our last inspiration card by the amazing Teneale!
