And here's my take:
I began by stamping this adorable new Penny Black Mimi image using VersaFine Ink and embossing with clear embossing powder. She was then colored using Copic markers. The paper was die cut using a Spellbinders die which I trimmed on the left and right hand sides to give it a different look. The background papers were inked with Wild Honey, Faded Jeans, and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The banner was colored with Copic markers so it would perfectly match the colors in the image. Sentiment by Penny Black.
Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you tomorrow with a fun event and a chance to win some prizes....

Doesn't Sheila use the most wonderful stamps? Her coloring is always amazing! Love your adorable take on her beautiful card, Jill!
Sheila's card is beautiful...again your cards are just amazing...you really do give me lots of inspiration. Your eye for color is outstanding..
Wonderful! Love both designs! You really make the images shine! I love Sheila's work!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your interpretation Jill! I like that you went with a totally modern little girl image and punched up the background colors to reflect the fun, bouncy mod little Mimi! I also like that you stayed with the blue dress and accented with purple and did the "same" flower.....your attention to detail in your interpretations is amazing!
Love this card! Fantastic!
Love both cards, both from 2 talented ladies. Thanks for sharing!
The colors on these cards are just great!
WOW Jill.... I loved Sheila's card when I first saw it and love your interpretation as well... cleverly done
the matting of the sentiment banner is so effective & I love how it echoes the banner element down the centre of your card.

Wonderful inspiration Jill! It is so fun to see your interpretation of your guest art. I love the continuation of the colored bands in Sheila's card carried through into your design. A great visual element that can be used in a fun and playful design as well as an elegant.
Cute idea, Jill. It gives me an idea for one of my Mimi stamps.
