MORE Christmas

So what do you get when you mix 110 degree weather, a stamper dreaming of cooler temps, and some old Christmas movies (we're talking Home Alone, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...)??  MORE Christmas cards, of course! :)  Here's a look at the new Penny Black stamp used on today's card (4207K Eternal).

I began by stamping 4207K onto Copic X-Press It cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I colored in this image using Copic markers.  Next I die cut this using Spellbinders Labels 16, trimming the tips of the die cut shape, creating a new look for this die.  I traced this same size die onto black cardstock and cut out using my scissors (layer the stamped piece on top of this, creating a small black border).  The background was inked with Faded Jeans, Broken China, and Black Soot Distress Ink.

And there's a new video up on the Mementos blog today showing how to create 3 different backgrounds using Distress Stains.  Here's a peek:
Thanks for visiting! See you tomorrow with another holiday card!
