This lovely collection of butterflies on a beautifully distressed background is totally AMAZING!
Here is my humble take:
Here is my humble take:
The butterflies and flower were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Copic X-Press It Cardstock and colored using Copic markers. They were then cut out and layered onto a background distressed with Wild Honey, Brushed Corduroy, and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. All stamps by Penny Black.
Here's a look at what's happening on the Mementos blog today- you'll find a video tutorial for this card:
Thanks so much for peeking!
Hope you all have an awesome weekend! :)

What a beautiful concept for a card! Love this idea from Elizabeta, and Jill your blue flower is gorgeous!
Oh Jill your card is just beautiful. I love the butterflies and the pearl touches!
Both cards today are fabulous! Love all the different butterflies on Elizabeta's card and your flower is amazing Jill!
Love Elizabeta's design....so gorgeous. And your take on Elizabeta's card is beautiful....I love the vibrancy of colors and "punches" around the edge of the card.
I love the colors on your card. It was interesting to see which cards you will choose. This one I made when I was home alone. So, I stamped and cut out a couple of butterflies and did some serious drawing, coloring and inking. The card-stock was bright ivory color and I inked it with brown and black ink to get this old look. I never thought it would end up like this. :)
Anyway, I am really thankful to you and all the ladies that left encouraging comments. Here in Croatia we have a couple of hobby stores that may have two or three products that I can use and sometimes it is really difficult to make a card for a certain challenge (and if you visit my blog you can see that I love challenges and use them for practice and for the inspiration). Sometimes I order products from outside Croatia, but the shipping and our taxes are too high. That is the reason my hubby made for me some patterned papers and basic clear stamps (couple of sentiments in Croatian and some drawings). Your kind words are a real encouragement.
I am looking forward to see more of your cards and cards from other ladies that can be my inspiration.
I love your cards, Jill! This one is so wonderfully bright and cheerful, and it just brightened my day! Your cards always have a way of making me smile:)
Wow, what a great week of inspiration. Elizabeta and you are both wonderfully talented ladies. Love how vibrant you card is.
Love these colors. Very elegant.
Gorgeous, just love how you colors pop against the yellow background!
